Blooming Where Planted
The juxtaposition of the soft, flowing lines of the flowers against the sturdy, angular shapes of the rocks creates a dynamic visual experience, and red is, of course, the color of Life. Beauty often flourishes in unexpected places, encouraging us to appreciate these small wonders around us every day.
I painted this while experiencing weeks of social isolation during the Covid-19 pandemic. Using these colors brought joy into my days. May it be so with you!
