Starlight Theatre original watercolor

"Starlight Theater" was painted on a warm and blustery March afternoon as supper guests slowly gathered to get in line for the evening meal.  It’s the kind of building and location that begs to be painted.  

I studied it and sketched a few different views of it before settling on the straight on “elevation” view. Though I’ll likely paint it from a different vantage point someday, I was pleased with this result.
